Pharmacist - Hospital Inpatient Setting

Position Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Montana state pharmacy license
- Experience in an inpatient or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospitalized patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
- Review and verify medication orders, ensuring appropriate drug selection, dosage, and administration.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapies and patient care plans.
- Monitor patient drug therapies for efficacy, side effects, and drug interactions.
- Provide patient education on medications, ensuring understanding and adherence to prescribed regimens.
- Participate daily rounds with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to offer medication-related advice and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate medication records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
