Acute & Critical Care Registered Nurse
MLR is working with a client to recruit a full-time Critical & Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) for high-intensity care environments. This key role involves managing critically ill and complex patients to ensure optimal care outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-care instructions while offering emotional support.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to department operations, manage patient care activities, and assist with fiscal responsibilities as needed.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients using medical history, observation, and diagnostic data.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress according to physician orders.
- Provide immediate interventions in emergencies, including advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and trauma care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Licensure: Active RN license in Montana.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in critical or acute care settings.
