Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage and mentor lab staff for high performance and growth.

  • Compliance: Ensure all practices meet OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and other regulations.
  • Efficiency: Develop and implement streamlined lab operations.
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance programs, including audits and inspections.
  • Inventory: Manage lab supplies and equipment efficiently.
  • Accreditation: Keep lab accreditation and licensure up to date.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments to support lab services and research.
  • Innovation: Stay current on new lab technologies and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • Current Montana licensure/certification.
  • 2+ years of lab management experience, including staff supervision and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of lab equipment, testing methods, and quality control.
  • Familiarity with lab information systems and electronic medical records.
  • Experience with lab accreditation and inspection processes.
