Now Hiring: Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Fort Benton, Montana

 

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our diagnostic imaging team in Fort Benton, MT. In this full-time role, you’ll play a key role in performing essential nuclear medicine procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and collaborating with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality diagnostic care to our patients in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to safety standards and regulations
  • Operate nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET/CT scanners
  • Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and renal imaging
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
  • Educate and reassure patients during procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Certification or certification-eligible through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong understanding of nuclear medicine imaging protocols, radiopharmaceuticals, and safety practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
