Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans.
  • Administer respiratory treatments, therapies, and medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory disorders, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in respiratory therapy and participate in continuing education programs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Montana
  • Must be a graduate of an AMA Accredited Respiratory Therapy program and credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified (CRT) or Registered (RRT) Respiratory Therapist
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • One year of clinical experience is desired.
