Job Summary: In the role of a Computed Tomography (CT)/Radiologic Technologist, you will conduct diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in diagnosing and treating patients. You will be operating CT and radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging results. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and radiologic examinations.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Operate CT and radiologic equipment, following established protocols and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain optimal images.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
  • Assist radiologists with the interpretation of images and provide necessary information.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • Basic cross-training in CT modules preferred.
  • ARRT certification required or willingness to obtain it.
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic and CT imaging techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and positioning patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital setting.
  • Advanced certifications in CT imaging.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
