Position Overview:
As a CT Technologist, you will play a key role in providing diagnostic imaging services that improve patient care. Your responsibilities will include operating CT and radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and capturing high-quality images. Your expertise will be essential in assisting radiologists and the healthcare team in delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and radiologic imaging procedures.
- Prepare and position patients comfortably, ensuring clear communication throughout the process.
- Safely operate imaging equipment while following established protocols.
- Optimize image quality through precise patient positioning.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment for reliable operation.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Engage in ongoing education to stay current with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography is required within six months.
- Valid Montana state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for accurate patient care.
- Capability to assist with lifting and positioning patients when necessary.
