MLR is partnering with a respected healthcare system in West-Central Texas to hire a skilled MRI Technologist for a full-time position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art imaging department. Position Overview:

  • Perform MRI Procedures: Conduct MRI exams to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures, ensuring diagnostic precision.
  • Operate MRI Equipment: Position patients accurately and acquire images while adhering to strict patient safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review MRI images for diagnostic quality and treatment planning.
  • Patient Care & Education: Provide patients with clear explanations of procedures, addressing concerns to help them feel at ease and informed.
  • Maintain MRI Equipment: Regularly inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI machines to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Accurately record patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Adhere to Safety Regulations: Follow all safety guidelines, infection control practices, and equipment standards to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

ARRT MRI Technologist Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
  • Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Certification: MRI Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • State Licensure: Must hold state licensure (if applicable).
  • CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
