MLR is collaborating with a respected healthcare system in West-Central Texas to recruit a skilled MRI Technologist. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a cutting-edge imaging department. Position Overview:

  • Perform MRI procedures to produce detailed images of patients’ internal structures.
  • Operate MRI equipment, ensuring precise positioning and image acquisition while maintaining patient safety.
  • Review and interpret MRI images for diagnostic quality, collaborating closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide patient care and education, explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Accurately document patient information and imaging results in electronic medical records.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control practices and equipment safety standards.

ARRT MRI Technologist Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
  • Prior experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred; however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Certification as an MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • State licensure (if applicable).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
