Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring the safe and effective operation of imaging equipment.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or NMTCB) required.
- Current state licensure (as applicable).
- Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine procedures.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including gamma cameras and PET scanners.
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine scans and diagnostic imaging procedures (e.g., bone scans, cardiac imaging, PET/CT scans).
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols.
