Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work alongside surgeons to devise and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Offer intraoperative assistance, such as preparing surgical rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing instrument transitions during surgeries
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, overseeing wound care, planning for patient discharges, and offering valuable education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preferred completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
