MLR Healthcare is hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist (MLT/MT) to join our laboratory team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic testing under the supervision of the Clinical Director, supporting patient care through accurate, timely results. You'll contribute to a collaborative lab environment while maintaining quality control standards, managing workflows, and ensuring equipment performance. Opportunities to mentor staff and students may be available with the Laboratory Director's approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic testing following physician orders and lab protocols
• Collect and process specimens via venipuncture across all age groups, ensuring sample integrity
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure accuracy of results
• Follow quality control procedures, document corrective actions, and manage patient data with confidentiality
• Collaborate with lab staff and other departments to support efficient operations
• Participate in proficiency testing, continuing education, and departmental meetings
• Assist in training new employees or students when appropriate

Qualifications

• Certified MLT or MT (ASCP, AMT or equivalent)
• Proficiency in laboratory instrumentation and result interpretation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support teamwork and patient interaction
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages
• Knowledge of laboratory regulations, standards, and safety protocols
