Job Title: Director of Surgery (Director of Surgical Services)

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Surgery to join our team. As the Director of Surgery, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the Pre-Op, Surgery, Post-Op, and Central Sterile areas. With a focus on delivering high-quality patient care, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient surgical services and maintaining a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the surgical services department
• Manage and optimize the utilization of resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with regulatory standards and best practices
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality initiatives and patient safety protocols
• Oversee the scheduling and coordination of surgical procedures in the operating rooms (ORs)
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among surgical staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Stay updated with advancements in surgical techniques, technology, and industry trends

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a leadership role within a surgical services department
• Strong knowledge of Pre-Op, Surgery, Post-Op, and Central Sterile operations
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures, including Cesarean birth, Breast surgery, Urogynecology, and Women's services
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record of achieving operational and financial targets
• Ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments

Direct Reports: 30~ Employees

Reports to: Director of Nursing

Salary Range: $95,000 - $135,000, depending on experience (DOE)

Bonus: Eligible for a 10% bonus based on the base salary
