Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical exams and detailed medical history assessments
• Support the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and facilitating instrument transfers during surgeries
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
