Interim Director of Lab

up to $105 per hour, Temp to Perm option

This position oversees day-to-day operations, manages financial operations, and develops procedures and goals for the department. They provide patient care, collaborate with healthcare providers, and promote team communication while serving as a patient advocate. Additionally, you will recruit, train, and appraise staff, manage employee relations, and participate in the annual budgeting process. They ensure the department operates effectively and efficiently while providing high-quality patient care.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of laboratory management experience required; advanced degree in healthcare field preferred

Experience:

Meet all qualifications for CLIA to direct moderately complex lab

· Five years management experience

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary projects

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop successful working relationships


Licenses:
MT (ASCP) Certification Required
