Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist MT/MLT (ASCP or AMT) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring a full range of laboratory testing and analysis. You will play a vital role in problem resolution, quality control, and equipment maintenance with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• ASCP or AMT Certification
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree

Responsibilities:

As a Medical Technologist, you will primarily focus on testing blood and bodily fluids using sophisticated laboratory equipment to obtain a wide variety of information. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Examining specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasites
• Measuring levels of drugs or other chemicals in the blood to ensure optimal medication levels
• Analyzing the chemical content of the blood to identify deficiencies in nutrients or excesses of cholesterol or blood sugars
• Utilizing cell counters, cultures, microscopes, and other specialized equipment
