Inpatient Physical Therapist
MLR Healthcare is partnering with a respected regional hospital in Missouri to hire a skilled Physical Therapist for a full-time role. This position offers an excellent opportunity to help patients achieve their best possible recovery in a collaborative healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients’ physical abilities, mobility, strength, and range of motion, developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs and goals.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a variety of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve strength, coordination, and function.
- Progress Monitoring: Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring therapy is effective and goal-oriented.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, body mechanics, and strategies for managing their condition outside of therapy.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes
Inpatient Physical Therapist Qualifications
- Education: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Missouri or eligibility for licensure.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
