Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Unit/Department Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care by overseeing the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s). You will also play a crucial role in forecasting, planning, and monitoring budgets, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and supporting the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with our facility objectives. The specific management responsibility includes SICU, MICU, Neuro, and Progressive Neuro units.

Qualifications:

  1. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 60 months of the employment start date.
  2. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of the employment start date.
  3. Registered Nurse (RN) qualification is required.
  4. A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  5. Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare leadership role.
  6. Critical care experience in an acute care hospital with a capacity of 120+ beds.
