MRI Technologist

MLR is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our radiology department. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging examinations, operate MRI equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout the imaging process.
MRI Technologist Qualifications:
- Associate Degree Graduate from an ARRT-accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification within 30 days of employment
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MRI certification obtained within 1 ½ years
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy
- 1+ years experience as staff technologist in an imaging department of comparable size and patient activity preferred

- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
- Prepare patients for MRI exams, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

- Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure the proper functioning of MRI machines.
- Review and process images for quality, collaborating with radiologists as needed.
