Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a closely related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or an equivalent accrediting body.
- A minimum of one year of professional experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory methodologies, instrumentation, and adherence to stringent safety protocols.
- Strong analytical acumen with the ability to accurately interpret and report test results.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct both routine and complex laboratory analyses on patient samples to support clinical diagnoses and treatment decisions.
- Accurately interpret and report test results to the healthcare team in a timely manner.
- Ensure optimal functioning, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Rigorously follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical challenges related to laboratory processes or equipment.
