Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a closely related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or an equivalent accrediting body.
• A minimum of one year of professional experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory methodologies, instrumentation, and adherence to stringent safety protocols.
• Strong analytical acumen with the ability to accurately interpret and report test results.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct both routine and complex laboratory analyses on patient samples to support clinical diagnoses and treatment decisions.
• Accurately interpret and report test results to the healthcare team in a timely manner.
• Ensure optimal functioning, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Rigorously follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical challenges related to laboratory processes or equipment.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in laboratory technology and industry best practices to continually enhance service delivery.
