Radiologic Technologist Job Overview:

Radiologic Technologist Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, completion of a military radiology program, or hospital-based radiology program, approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• One year of practical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent is required
• Graduates working under a valid Student Rad Tech license must maintain an X-Ray Machine Operators License from the Indiana State Department of Health within 6 months post-graduation
• ARRT Registration required within 90 days of graduation; CE credits must be maintained as per accrediting body requirements
• Registered in Computer Tomography (CT) with ARRT required within 12 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
