We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: As a Senior Human Resources Generalist at [Hospital Name], you will play a vital role in supporting the hospital's mission by managing various aspects of human resources, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates who align with the hospital's values and goals.
  2. Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, handling employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
  3. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and healthcare regulations.
  4. Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, providing guidance on healthcare plans, retirement options, and other employee perks.
  5. Performance Management: Collaborate with managers to implement effective performance management strategies, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  6. Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and knowledge within the organization.
  7. Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to boost employee morale, engagement, and overall satisfaction. Foster a positive workplace culture.
  8. HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs. Generate regular reports for management review.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare setting.
  3. Thorough understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices in the healthcare industry.
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
