Physical Therapist – Inpatient

Position Overview:
As an Inpatient Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical function and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs. You will provide hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training, to help patients recover and improve their quality of life. Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, you will coordinate patient care to ensure the best rehabilitation outcomes. You will also educate patients and their families on the recovery process, injury prevention, and home exercise programs, while documenting treatment plans, progress, and outcomes according to clinical standards and regulations.

 

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should have a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and a current state license to practice in Michigan. Experience in inpatient care or rehabilitation settings is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training and a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams are essential for success.
