Medical Technologist- MLT/MT -ASCP/AMT

Analyzing lab testing is complex. We depend on the knowledge and skills of our MT/MLTs when it comes to evaluating medical lab tests to determine what is happening with our patients. Responsibilities:

As a Medical Lab Scientist, you will be responsible for performing moderate and high complexity testing in a high-tech lab that contains areas of chemistry, hematology, coagulations, urinalysis, blood bank and a full microbiology department. You will analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results, and ensure specimen integrity by adhering to laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing. You will correctly receive specimens, print labels, and enter and verify patient data without errors. You will identify problems which may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results. You will participate in proficiency testing activities in each applicable technical area.


Qualifications:

  • Medical Laboratory Technician OR Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Scientist Degree Required
  • Valid ASCP or AMT certification required (Will consider if eligible)


Shift:

7 days on, 7 days off, four 10-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts
