Description

• Assess patients in either an inpatient or outpatient setting, creating tailored treatment plans to meet their unique needs
• Implement physical therapy techniques that focus on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility policies and regulations
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Required state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly desirable
