MLee Healthcare is seeking a qualified Nursing Director or RN to lead a dynamic Surgical Services team at an established hospital in the thumb region of Michigan.

Director of Surgical Services Duties / Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans to elevate surgical services in alignment with organizational goals.
• Operational Excellence: Optimize day-to-day operations of the surgical department for efficiency and superior patient outcomes.
• Team Empowerment: Lead and inspire a diverse team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and implement quality assurance programs.
• Collaboration: Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to drive innovation and enhance patient care.

Qualifications for the Nursing Director of Surgical Services:

• Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Current RN license in Michigan.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in surgical services or experience within a level 1 or 2 trauma center.
• Strong knowledge of surgical practices, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
