Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the surgical services department, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to best practices.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a skilled team of surgical staff, including nurses and technicians.
• Policy Development: Design and implement policies aimed at improving departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Innovation: Stay updated on the latest surgical trends and techniques to keep our department at the forefront of the industry.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and enhance interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Experience: At least five years of progressive clinical nursing experience, with a management background in surgical services.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of hire; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 1 year of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are desirable.
