Med - Surg Registered Nurse

Med/Surg Registered Nurse - Fulltime

Position Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Previous experience in a Med/Surg or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety at all times.
• Monitor and record patient vitals, symptoms, and progress, reporting any changes to the medical team.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Ensure that all clinical activities are performed according to hospital protocols and safety standards.
