A tight-knit, family-feel community hospital in Maine is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dual-Modality X-Ray/CT Tech to join their dynamic Imaging team.
Qualifications:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license in the state of Maine.
- ARRT certification in Radiography; CT skills preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with PACS and RIS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate care.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced hospital environment.
- Conduct precise diagnostic X-Ray imaging procedures, following established protocols and ensuring optimal image quality.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, guaranteeing functionality and performance.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare teams, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns.
- Position patients accurately for imaging, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results.
- Monitor patients during procedures, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, with a preference for candidates willing to be trained in CT procedures.
