MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a critical access hospital in a scenic and beautiful city in Northern Main that is seeking a dedicated Medical Lab Technician to join their team.

Qualifications, Licenses, and Certifications for a Medical Lab Technician:

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) preferred.
• ASCP Certification preferred.
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.

Responsibilities for a Medical Lab Technician:

• Perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of a medical technologist or laboratory manager.
• Prepare specimens for analysis, including blood samples, urine, and other bodily fluids.
