MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a breast care center in the DC area that is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join their team.
Qualifications, Licenses, and Certifications for a Mammographer:
- Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Current certification in mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a radiologic technologist in Washington, DC.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Responsibilities for a Mammographer:
- Position patients for mammography procedures and ensure proper alignment for accurate imaging.
- Operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality images of breast tissue.
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate interpretation of mammogram images.
- Provide patient education and support throughout the mammography process.
