Job Summary: MLee Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dynamic Nuclear Medicine Supervisor. The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor manages the daily operations of the nuclear medicine department. This role ensures the efficient and safe delivery of high-quality patient care and offers leadership and guidance to a team of nuclear medicine technologists.

 

Nuclear Medicine Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Conducts diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including quality control.
  • Oversees and ensures compliance with the Radiation Safety Program and ALARA standards for the nuclear medicine department.
  • Adheres strictly to radiation safety protocols.
  • Optimizes imaging devices to guarantee high-quality images.
  • Ensures efficient workflow within the department.
  • Exhibits strong leadership skills and supervises staff in delivering patient care.
  • Supervises and performs high-quality nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Provides feedback on image quality.
  • Compiles QA data and maintains exam protocols.
  • Coordinates with other departments on issues.
  • Recommends and manages equipment needs.
  • Oversees staff training, hiring, and evaluations.
  • Handles disciplinary actions as per the facility handbook.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5  years as a Nuclear Medical Technologist.
  •  Three years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience including one year of work-lead or supervisory experience. 
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related field of study.  
  • License and or Certification 
  • Must be ARRT (N)  or CNMT certified. 
  • Must obtain a license from the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Maryland.
