Your Role in Our Imaging Family

 

We're excited to bring on a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technician to bolster our team of imaging specialists in providing outstanding care to our community. Here, you’ll employ advanced ultrasound equipment to execute diagnostic procedures, facilitating patient comfort while working alongside a collaborative group of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering accurate and timely imaging results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diverse ultrasound exams including, but not limited to, abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging.
  • Prioritize patient well-being and safety during procedures, clearly explaining the process to ensure understanding and ease.
  • Work closely with radiologists and referring doctors to deliver high-quality diagnostic images that meet clinical needs.
  • Safely operate and maintain imaging technology, promptly addressing any technical issues.
  • Meticulously document procedures and manage patient data within the electronic medical record system.
  • Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging practices to enhance your skills.

 

Educational Background:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline.
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferable.

 

Required Certifications:

  • Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is considered a plus.

 

Essential Skills:

  • Proven technical skills in sonography, encompassing imaging techniques and patient manipulation for optimal results.
  • Excellent communication abilities to foster rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
