Qualifications for a Physical Therapist:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT).
  • Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Epic experience.
  • CPR certification and willingness to participate in continuing education programs.

 

Responsibilities for a Physical Therapist:

  • Evaluate patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans to promote mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to address patients' needs.
  • Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and educate patients and their families about rehabilitation techniques and strategies.
