Our state-of-the-art medical facility in Boston is currently seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technician to join our dynamic imaging team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional passionate about advancing their career in the medical imaging field and contributing to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities of a Radiologic Technologist:
- Conduct a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ensuring adherence to strict safety and quality standards.
- Provide a comforting and informative environment for patients, meticulously explaining procedures and addressing any concerns to enhance patient experience.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality and reliability of all imaging technologies.
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in interpreting imaging results, facilitating accurate and timely diagnoses.
Qualifications for a Radiology Technologist:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Valid Massachusetts state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proven experience in a radiology department, with a strong understanding of radiologic protocols and patient care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
