ARDMS Ultrasound Technician

MLR is looking for a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) to join our dynamic imaging department in the Boston area. In this role, you will be essential to our mission of delivering accurate and timely diagnoses using advanced ultrasound imaging technology. Shifts / Schedules Available:
- Sat and Sun 7a-7p and Monday 8pm-7am | 34 hours / week
- Fri, Sat and Sun 7pm-7am | 36 hours / week
- Mon-Th 9p-7a, Holiday and On-call responsibilities | 40 hours / week
Responsibilities for an Ultrasound Technologist:
- Perform ultrasound examinations with precision and proficiency, adhering to established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for optimal scan quality.
- Operate ultrasound equipment proficiently and make necessary adjustments to obtain high-quality images.
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies.
Qualifications for a Sonographer:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of general ultrasound experience, with OB experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care.
