Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, coordinating diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in conjunction with collaborating physicians or independently (subject to credentialing)
• Educating patients and families on prevention strategies, wellness initiatives, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Working cooperatively within multidisciplinary teams to guarantee comprehensive, unified care
• Maintaining clear and precise documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background Preferred

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• A valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Louisiana
• National accreditation as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
