• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures and ensuring understanding throughout
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and physicians to yield high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment proficiently, promptly reporting any issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
• Keep informed of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
