Job Details:
- Primarily outpatient role, with occasional inpatient coverage as necessary.
- Specializing in pediatric patients, with occasional adult cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations upon patient referral, integrating data from various assessment techniques to develop customized treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
- Administer safe and effective speech therapy treatments that encompass physical, mental, social, and emotional components, fostering improved quality of life and independence.
- Demonstrate precise application of therapeutic principles and practices, using clinical judgment to observe patient responses to treatments.
- Ensure timely completion of documentation to optimize reimbursement for speech therapy services.
Qualifications:
- State of Louisiana licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is mandatory.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related healthcare setting.
