We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our client's Med/Surg team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Description:

The Medical/Surgical RN provides care for patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The Med/Surge RN collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Due to the broad range of medical conditions Med/Surge Nurses will encounter, they must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions.

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the patient care setting.
• Communicates, as appropriate, information about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Louisiana (LA) Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• One (1) year clinical experience as med-surg RN preferred
