MLR is partnering with a trusted healthcare system to fill a Full-Time Registered Nurse position in the Labor & Delivery/Recovery unit. This role offers varied shifts, with specific details to be discussed during the interview. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Direct, Individualized Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to women and children, utilizing the nursing process to meet each patient’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with Patients, Families, and Healthcare Teams: Work closely with patients and their families to ensure effective care and achieve positive health outcomes.
- Adhere to Nursing Standards: Uphold professional nursing standards and comply with the Texas Nurse Practice Act.
- Engage in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in committees, surveys, and ongoing efforts to improve patient care within the unit.
- Provide Compassionate Communication: Offer clear and compassionate communication with patients and their families to enhance the care experience.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing).
- Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Certifications:
- CPR/BCLS certification required.
- Labor & Delivery: ACLS and NRP certifications (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- NICU: NRP certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Pediatrics: PALS or ENPC certification (must be obtained within 18 months of hire).
