Ultrasound Technologist - ARDMS

Position Summary:
- Independently perform various OB, Vascular, and abdominal studies with minimal supervision
- Conduct diagnostic U/S exams including Adult and Pediatric Abdominal, Pelvic, and more
- Assist radiologists with interventional procedures like biopsies and drain placements
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute ultrasound examinations with accuracy and skill, following established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Properly prepare and position patients to achieve optimal scan quality.
- Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, making necessary adjustments to capture high-quality images.
- Conduct a range of ultrasound exams, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular studies.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of general ultrasound experience, with OB experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care.
