Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients’ specific needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to enhance patients’ motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday living tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their caregivers on therapy methodologies to encourage continuous progress outside of the clinical setting
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure continued patient success

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are highly encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is required
