Description – Your Role

Conduct routine and advanced lab tests—chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—while adhering to established protocols.
Evaluate lab results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold lab quality standards.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment, while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within one year of employment.
Maintain active certification throughout your tenure.
