Essential Responsibilities

Verify patient identity using two forms of identification and confirm physician orders in accordance with policy.
Participate in all mandatory meetings, in-services, and continuing education to maintain and enhance professional skills.
Complete and maintain departmental competency checklists to ensure high standards of practice.
Utilize resources efficiently and manage time effectively to meet departmental goals.
Identify and report issues promptly to contribute to problem-solving and process improvements.
Engage actively in process improvement projects both within the department and across the organization.
Collaborate positively with team members, maintaining a professional and supportive work environment.
Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to protect patient health information.
Maintain effective communication and professional relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and external agencies.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Education and Experience

Associate degree or higher from an accredited two-year college or technical school in Ultrasound or related field.
Preferred: At least one year of clinical experience post-graduation.

Licenses and Certifications

Must obtain Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentials within six months of hire.
