Echo Technologist Position Summary

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams, including TEE, EEG, EKGs, stress tests, EECP, ICG, and ambulatory monitoring, to support the evaluation and treatment plans prescribed by the attending physician. The technologist expertly operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images across various clinical settings. They provide clear explanations of procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure exceptional customer service. The echo technologist adjusts equipment settings as needed, using procedural knowledge and established protocols to achieve optimal imaging outcomes.

Echo technologist Position Requirements

• Minimum Education
  • High School graduate or GED
• Minimum Experience
  • 4 years previous experience in Echocardiography technology preferred
• Required Registration/License/Certification
  • RDCS through ARDMS or CCI
  • BLS Certification within 90 days of employment
