Respiratory Therapist
Full-Time | 3x12s | Night Shift
Responsibilities:
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, ventilator support, and airway management.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment techniques, and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all safety and healthcare regulations.
- Work independently in a small-team, rural care setting where flexibility and clinical autonomy are valued.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
- Previous experience in all aspects of respiratory care is preferred.
- Proficient in using ABG analyzers, ventilators, IPPB, and Pulmonary Function equipment.
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license in the State of Kansas.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required within six months of hire.
- Comfortable working in a rural hospital setting with a broad patient age range.
