Position Overview:
- Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures in areas such as chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood banking.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Prepare samples and perform routine diagnostic tests in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of test results, communicating findings to medical staff as needed.
- Adhere to quality control standards and safety protocols to ensure accurate testing and a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with laboratory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field (or equivalent education and experience).
- Certification: Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent organization (preferred, or eligible to obtain).
- Experience: Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting is a plus, but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
