Position Summary:


The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform X-rays and other radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role is essential in providing physicians with precise images to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, following all safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and ensuring comfort.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including documenting images and procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure effective communication of imaging results.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
  • Indiana State Radiologic License (or eligibility to obtain).
  • 1+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to patient care.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
