Sleep Technologist - Fulltime
Job Description:
We seek a compassionate and skilled Sleep Technologist to join our North Vernon, Indiana team. You will be responsible for conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients during diagnostic tests, and assisting with diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about improving patients' sleep quality and overall health.
Most Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and monitor sleep studies (polysomnography) to assess sleep disorders.
- Set up and calibrate sleep study equipment.
- Record and analyze patient data during the study to detect sleep-related issues.
- Provide support and education to patients regarding sleep study procedures and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with preparing reports for physicians.
- Follow all protocols and safety guidelines during sleep studies.
Role Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography Program or equivalent training and experience
- Certification as a Sleep Technologist (e.g., RPSGT or CST) required.
- We'd want you to have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
