Travel CT Technologist - Up to $75 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomography (CT) scans on patients in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Position and immobilize patients as necessary to obtain optimal images.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patients during scans, observing for any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Evaluate CT images for quality, ensuring that the necessary views are obtained.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely interpretations of CT images.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Travel to different healthcare facilities as assigned, adapting to different work environments and establishing rapport with new teams.
  • Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Requirements:

  • Valid certification as a CT Technologist from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, with a strong focus on high-quality imaging.
  • Proficient in operating CT scanners and related equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of CT imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Familiarity with relevant radiation safety protocols and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and medical staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet travel requirements.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in CT technology.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (or willingness to obtain).
